The Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr.Anthony Nsiah Asare has debunked the media publication of false information about the malaria vaccine which has been brought into th country, for children.

Dr.Nsiah Asare said a very professional and thorough job has been done, to ensure that the vaccine will rather protect children and fortify the children against the malaria parasite which kills most of the children in the infancy.

He condemned a video making rounds on social media, and said it was a very dangerous thing to do because it lacks every professionalism and merit.

He said even the woman who did the video has come out to apologise.

He said any drug or vaccine that comes into the country is tested and approved by the Food And Drugs Authority and this one is no exception.

Dr.Nsiah Asare said the project was cordinated with the World Health Organization, and called on Ghanaians to support it to help our children for a better future.
