Education minister, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh has told Parliament that a total of 236 out of 822 SHS projects started by the NPP government have been completed.
The minister said 586 projects are currently at various stages of completion across the 16 regions.

According to the minister, completion of all the projects will promote quality education and equitable access in the schools.

The move forms part of efforts by government to end the double track system brought about by the free SHS program.

Dr. Opoku Prempeh was responding to questions on the floor.
