The Volta Regional Police Command has arrested five persons who allegedly stormed the premises of the District Chief Executive for Krachi West in the Oti Region and caused disturbances.

The suspects allegedly forced the DCE for Krachi West hon. Douglas Osei-Nti from his office and also locked the office thereby preventing him from carrying out his duties.

A statement signed by ACP David Senanu Eklu, Director- General of Public Affairs of Ghana Police Service mentioned the suspects as Mathias Banyolonso, Sarfo Sunkwa, Amos Eseikor, Tijani Shaibu and Murtala Yakubu, all believed to be former executies of Krachi West NPP.
