Deputy Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection and Member of Parliament for Tano North in the Brong Ahafo Region, Freda Prempeh ,has said that, water was one of the main challenges confronting her constituency and for that matter she has launched a campaign called Agenda Fifty boreholes and out of fifty boreholes twenty- four boreholes has been constructed within the constituency.

Speaking to Oman FM Parliamentary Correspondent, Nana Ampofo Ayeh, she indicated that school children over the years have to walk miles away to search for water before going to school which is worrying and affecting their academic performance.

She said by the end of 2019, she is hoping to complete all the fifty boreholes as promised.

The MP said the fire service at Duayaw Nkwanta which do not have fire hydrant has been allocated and borehole for the project has been constructed and it will be commission soon.
