Fighting Covid-19 cannot only be left to the government and so was the turn of Presbyterian Church of Ghana, New Juaben North and South to support.


Led by the District Minister, Rev Dr Kofi Amfo-Akonnor, the church got to the Eastern regional hospital with a number of PPEs and then Salem water produced by the church. Presenting the items, Rev Dr Kofi Amfo Akonnor said this is the time when water is needed most.

He ended his short presentation remarks saying, all who are infected are of the same family be he Presbyterian, Methodist, Anglican, Catholic or whatever and need the helping hand of whoever


Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, was the Deputy Director of Nursing Services (DDNS), Philomina Mireku.


She expressed much gratitude to the Church and hinted on the stress they go through to feed the patients.


She therefore requested for more support and for of such PPEs especially, face masks, gloves and theater hair caps
