The President, His excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ended his 3day tour to the eastern region today at Koforidua where a number of students from Nursing training school and Senior High Schools including GHANASS, OPASS, OMESS, OBOSS, OYOKO SDA, SEC-TECH, NEW JUABEN SHS etc coming together to express their gratitude to the President for the Free SHS which has made it possible for a number of then to be in school.
Asokore SDA Snr High School sang a song to express their gratitude and appreciation.
The Prez in his shirt address said he is happy to have started his eastern region tour with students and end with students.
He exhorted the students to put out their best in the up coming WASSCE which is going to be the first of the Free SHS students.
He said that is the way to prove to the skeptics the good of the education program.
He assured the SEC-TECH SHS the completion of all GETFUND projects, the completion of assembly hall for the school and provision of enough desks for the school.
Prez Akufo-Addo again explain why all should gain secondary school.
He mentioned Koforidua SEC-TECH SHS, a grade A school as a school chosen for Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in the Eastern region.
The Prez congratulated 4teachers who have brought honor to the region in the 2019 Best Teacher Award prizes.
