The MP for Abuakwa South and Minister for Works & Housing, Hon Samuel Attah Akyea has assured the family of the murdered Salvation Army JHS teacher, George Somoah Bosompem a befitting burial.

This was in the family house when the MP went there to console the wife, Mrs Ivy Somoah & the entire family on the gruesome murder of their beloved one.

Hon Samuel Attah Akyea said the incident is very shameful which should not have been mentioned at all about Asiakwa and wondered whether the suspects do not come from homes. He said the nation is grieved and would definitely deal with those found guilty in the case.

He said the question of No Job can never be a reason to this heinous crime which has sent shivers down the whole nation.
As the MP for the area, Hon Attah Akyea consoled the family and added his acknowledgement of the deceased as a known hard working NPP man

Hon Attah Akyea assured the family of every support to enable them give a befitting burial to the late teacher, George Somoah Bosompem. He thus, requested the family to involve him and keep the party (NPP) informed of all concerning the funeral and thereafter.


Hon Attah Akyea said further that what has happened could call for purification of the entire community. He said the whole nation is solidly behind the family and so they should look up unto God.


His final consolation went to the widow, Mrs Ivy Somoah & her children, the old mother of the deceased, Janet Agyare and the entire family. Hon Attah Akyea for a start, gave GHC2,000:00 for a coffin.
